Balsam Lake fishing

First time fishing this lake. Camping at the Prov Park. I understand there are a variety of fish including Waleye. Any tips or advice.

There's a pretty good map on this site with most of the community holes on it. North end up by the camp was a bit stained the last few weeks. I did well using an x-rap shad in clown color for 'eyes.

It's my favorite lake to fish for the sake of variety of species and ways to catch them. Enjoy.
