Weekend report

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Weekend report

Post by muskymatt »

Every Canada day my wife, kids and I head up to the lake to spend with my brother in law and his wife and daughters who are very close in age to my 2 girls.

We arrived last Thursday and had to set up the tent in the rain and then it proceeded to rain for the next 24 hrs

Plenty of chat and hanging out haveing some pops
Image

Lots of night time music...great musicians..blue grass and others...love it
Image

Caught loads of pike and ate a few with eggs for breaky...yumm
Image

Bass as well...all returned to the water though.....fat largies chompin on frogs topwater...very exciting

Image

Removing the "Y" bone...tasty
Image

My pup...getting old, he spent a lot of time sleeping between swims

Image

A little paddle boat time for the girls...tubing was cut short due to a bad fuel filter

Image

Finally a decent sunset after wind/rain and more mosquitos that you have ever seen

Image

Lots of fun...can't wait to go back for the 8th annual next year...

Yes...this is the second time I've seen pics of Matt with bass in hand. Careful, someone may start calling you BassN Matt.

Looks like a great time with the family!!

Thanks for sharing the report and pics.
