family fishing

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

family fishing

Post by jbo »

I have been on the site for a while now and I haven't had much to post but I took the kids out to the riverfest derby in brockville and they had some luck. My son gordon caught a nice large mouth 1.5 lbs. ??? and my daughter Elizabeth caught some little perch. They both recieved prizes from canadian tire, it was a very well organized derby and both kids had a good time. Thanks to Big Jim and all who had a hand in organizing the derby. Also got out monday evening with the wife and kids to hardy park in brockville Elizabeth caught a little smallmouth and Gordon caught the twin to the largemouth that he caught saturday. Then we saw 3 weasels?? at least we think they were weasels I didn't know they could swim under water and catch fish, they seemed friendly and curious. I took some pics. still trying to firgure out how to post them. Thanks for all of the advise from all of your posts in the past few months I look forward to reading more of them in the future. jbo

Hmmm...sounds like some river otters or mink, though the mink that I have encountered tend to scurry away when people are around.

You can put the pics on the gallery or on photobucket.com. Photobucket has ready tags for you to post here for the pics to show. It is very straightforward to do, you can PM me if you need more help.
