That is good advice to wait till the fall. I bought mine in November of last year and would argue that I saved a couple of grand doing it that way. Not to mention, not nearly as much competition for the same purchase.

Buy while the season is slow and sell when hot.

Before going with a Legend, wich I honestly think is really overpriced when you want to add a decent size motor on it, you should seriously look into the Crestliner category. Another brand you might want to look into, is Mirro Craft. I have one myself, since 1996, and never had problem with it! Good luck!
