Post by baitcaster »

Hello All,

Our 8th Annual Family Fun Derby is scheduled for this Saturday, July 18th.

Although the weather does not look promising we hope you will bring the kids out for a fish.

There are lots of prizes for all the kids, Big Jim will be making an appearance as well as representation from the Carleton Place OPP and Crime Stoppers.

There will be free hotdogs and drinks for all the kids.

You can register at our Hwy 15 store – 7811 Hwy 15 just south of Carleton Place or at the lake location – 135 Hardwood Rd. Weigh-in is at the lake location. Derby runs from 9-2. If you would like more info please send us an email at info@baitcasters.ca and we will forward the derby registration form, rules, etc.

Hope to see you there!

Hey Jordan,

Look forward to seeing you. Haven't talked to Sheldon in the last couple of weeks so not sure. Sounds like the weather forecast is getting a little bit better though and we might actually get some sunshine this afternoon.
See you in a couple of hours.

Sorry I could not make it out for the day as I have been occupied with a family health issue.
Congratulations to all the families that attended and I am sure I will see you all next summer at this great annual event.
