Good spot to go?

We are going fishing on July 30th to Aug 2nd we are looking for a spot no further than 9 hours from Brockville.

We would like to catch some big pike or muskies, dont really care for the walleye, any thoughts on what would be our best chance?

We went to temagami last fall and had no luck there...any help would be much apprietated!

I have never fished it but the french river area maybe worth a try. just a suggestion. I seen a lot of pics and have watched some fishing shows on this area.
