Lake Opinicon Anglers,

If you will be fishing for largemouth bass in Lake Opinicon this summer, please be aware that a number of fish have been equipped with radio transmitters. These bass will be obvious because they have external antennas and stitches (see attached file for photos). The movement and locations of these bass are being monitored as part of a Queen’s University biological study. We would appreciate if you could live-release these fish so they may continue to contribute to our study. For more information or to report the capture of a tagged fish, please contact Matt DeMille (see below). Please pass along this information to anyone else who may be bass fishing on Lake Opinicon this summer.
