I fished the Rideau R. last night for the first time (launched at Kars). Looking for suggestions where some hot spots are for Muskie or Pike.
Only catch and release here. I normally fish Mississippi lake.

What's interesting about that stretch is that it's all good, as long as the fish are there
I've hit everywhere between Keptville creek and deep into Manotick and have gotten a fish at one time ot another in pretty much every good looking spot.
Take a cruise and if you see a spot that looks good then fish it, on a good day it will produce.
