muskie on Balsum Lake...Nov 1...with the kid

hey everyone...

Fishing with my son on Balsum Lake today.

3 muskie day... 4 hours of effort. 3 passes with that shad rap perch against a bay unprotected from the wind produced 3 muskies.

I couldn't believe it!!! My son was nervous when the big one was brought aboard.

2 were about 30 or so inches and the big one was a just a hair off 45 inches ...my biggest so far this fall.
All released alive and kickin....

water temp 45 F, cloudy day slight breeze.
