Threading worms

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

A basic rig or texas rigged (weedless)?

Plastic or real?

This may be hard to explain so I shall do it the easy way  Try picking up a pre rigged walleye worm harness and take a few apart to see how it goes together.Or you can take this set up.

The Rig,Attach a small barrel swivel to your main line and lead off to 15 to 20 mono or flourocarb then about 12 inches down clam 2 small split shot then snell not a # 6 or 8 octopus hook and about 2 inches past that tie on another hook.

Threading the worm,

1run the point of the trail hook(the second hook)into the head of the worm and down the shank bout 1/2 inch.

2 pull the hook all the way through the worm so it is hanging free while still connected to the laed line.

3 run the point of the lead hook through the top of the worm at least 1/2 inch

4 pull the trail hook so the lead is tight and either leave exposed both hooks or unexposed pending on cover.Try wacky riggin it too with different ways the worm is set I.E bent, twisted or right strait.

More weight for deeper water and diff size worms too. Also try it with large tubes and slugos too!!!!Deadly tech for slow presentation fishin!!!

Hope it helps ya, T.L F.F
