B-A passed on the last occasion to go Small Mouth Fishing.
why... i dont know...but thats history now.
A quick phone call and he's replaced like a new pair of boxers after the day we had!

The bite Slowed down. W/ the cold comming in. and the high winds.
Thank you mother nature... she gave us a small bay that was nearly windless.

Mike got into the action.

The fish were deeper than last thusday.
this time in the 30 FOW range.
They say you dont feel the bite this time of the year.
20 fluoro and a heavy 7.6 rod help with the light bites.
i felt them alright. just a small * SMACK* and set the hook realy hard.

We get on the other side of a point where the wind was breaking off.... of
Get the lure down and there they were.

Put them all back in the water and they would swim straight down home.
the deep... were they will sleep... until ice forms..... and we get them on spoons.

I put the boat away... stored for next year. no 6 lbs small mouth were caught this year....
but i saw him. and next year its only a matter of time befor he hits something!
for me MAYBE one last musky outting and thats it.
enjoi.
