Baitfish Primer

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Baitfish Primer

Post by Maple »

This is a heads up to a nifty little book called "The Baitfish Primer", which is "a guide identifying and protecting Ontario's baitfish". It's put out by Fisheries and Oceans Canada. You can pick them up at most fishing and outdoor shows where there's a MNR booth, or at the MNR office (Services Canada?). Great info, colour pics, and free free free.

Fall Fish!! That is the name of those fish, I used to catch as a kid!! I used to catch these big silvery fish that put up a good fight.

I never knew what they heck kind of fish they were untill now!! I always called them Mullet! Dont know why, but mullet sounds better than Fall Fish!! lol
