ottawa rib fest

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I took Bowzog to the Montana's all you can eat rib night on his birthday last year. It's all you can eat, but they bring them over one rib at a time, so you have to wait to catch your server to get the next one.

It is pretty simple, order a new rack when they drop the first off, they stay hot and you are well fed.....
5 full racks was the best I could manage but it was my anniversary, could not let my bride think I had turned into a total slob.

I think it is on Friday night but Marshies has all you can eat ribs for a 20 spot. I could not eat more than a rack as they are not the skimpy little back ribs they are the full meaty side ribs. When they bring out a rack they are hanging of both sides of the plate.

At Marshies though I much prefer the pulled pork sandwich. Now thats southern BBQ.

Speaking of pulled pork, I have a butt all rubbed up and relaxing in the fridge to spend the better part of a day on the Q.

Hey Rex, I highly recommend dropping a C-Note and getting yourself a water smoker from C-Tire or Wally World.......one you smoke up a pork butt you'll never go back to BBQ again. I smoke mine for about 4 hours and then finish it off on the BBQ just to crisp up on the outside.........OH My GOD!!!!!
