Crappie Biting?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Good job!!
Re: snapped line - all the books say use 4lb test, I lost quite a few jigs by following this advice. Last year I switched to ultra-thin 8lb test and the crappie don't seem to notice.

I am hoping to get out today for some Crappie on the Rideau. Hope that the crazy winds last night didn't chase them all back out to deeper waters.
