St. Lawrence Jumbos

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

St. Lawrence Jumbos

Post by i got worms »

what a day! after bagging a nice jake early this morning ( http://www.fish-hawk.net/hawktalk/viewtopic.php?t=39180 ), i was looking for something constructive to do for the rest of the day.

so i gave my bro a ring and said, "let's hit the larry for some jumbos!".

he says, "i'll be there in 20 minutes!".

it didn't take long before we were balls deep into the jumbos.

we caught some real nice hogs and kept a few of the long thinner males for the table.

they were in pretty thick the other day. look for the dark patches. we did well with black and white tubes tipped with a worm. use the schwartz.
