looking for a tool holder

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

looking for a tool holder

Post by Hookup »

I'm looking for a "thing" that will hold scissors, pliers, knife etc that I can bolt-to the boat. Ideally the "thing" would be no more than 6inches wide and 4 inches tall...

I have to locations in the boat where I could mount these "things" that would keep pliers, scissors, knifes really handy...

Anyone?

Picked up one of these at Canadian Tire on Cyrville Rd. last week for $16...
They're normally $34 but I think they're being discontinued. Act fast! ;)

I'll second the magnetic strip...I mounted (glued) a neodymium magnet to the inside of my console, and my pliers stick to the outside. they stay pretty solid on there.
going to add a second one for bolt cutters this year.

that rapala tool kit does look pretty cool though...I just really like magnets haha.

Mr. J bolt cutters will not fit in there. You need a homemade one for those.

Even knipex?

If knipex won't fit then neither will my pliers.

Not sure I've never had a pair of knipex. but the longnose pliers in the picture just goes into the holder.
