This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

The red fish is the casting-plug you get with kids fishing rods....Not crazy enough to give him a real hook, just yet... 8)

Tip for ya Scott ...

Just keep backing up until the water starts coming in by the doors , that should be far enough in most cases... :P :P :P :P :P
I hear you only do that with a Sunfire... 8) 8)

Love the lads smile!!! That must make it all worth it. Also nice to see him supporting The Team even in the off season. Teaching him not to be a fair weather fan!!!

Looking forward to reading some reports from Poacher Lake!!

Hey Scott,
Good on ya taking out the young lad. Bring food, toys etc and the trips last a bit longer. A real minnow to play with works great too.
Clay Bank launch is one of the worst thought out ideas for a launch ever. No dock, winds always blow in that way, even with high water it is a long way in to launch. At least it is free.
Scott, check out the launch near Arnprior Aerospace. I was there on Sunday and it has been fixed up a bit. I will try it next time I am out on the head pond and let you know if it is good.

Awesome, 2nd times a charm. The pics of your little fisherman were priceless, my first child is due in July and I already can't wait to bring her fishing.
Wishing I was fishing

Looks like the little guy loved the quality time with you on the water. Priceless. I'm sure he'll master that spiderman rod in no time and have to move up to something a little more advanced :)
