can anyone tell me what the regulation is concerning the wearing of life jackets manufactured in usa.wear can one find the regulations. thanks

If the label does not say Transport Canada or Canadian Coast gaurd certified, then you are not legal...

I recently purchased a boat from the US that came with 6 new life jackets that are now USELESS :evil:

By law, pleasure craft must have enough Canadian approved
flotation devices of the appropriate size for
everyone on board. You can choose between lifejackets
and PFDs. Remember, lifesaving cushions are not
approved as personal flotation equipment on any vessel.

You can wear the illegal jacket so long as there is a legal one available to you.
