What's Your Biggest Catch?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

What's Your Biggest Catch?

Post by tman12 »

Hi guys! I know people ask this question a lot, but what is your biggest fish?
Since summer is coming, I thought we could add stuff when the PB or whatever comes. (If you guys wanna) Post a pic, or just tell us about it! Doesn't have to be a certain species, just your favorite or PB catch!
..........mine of course is my high5-6 pound largie from 2008!

Probably the Salmon I caught in Kincardine when I was a kid, don't quite remember the weight but it was a monster, plus my uncle who had lived there for nearly 20 years had never caught one. I was there for a week haha
it's always fun to tease him about that.

My persoanl best is yet to come

Long story short

Very small lake, almost a big pond

And there is General Sherman in there

This will be my 3rd summer hunting him

If I get him it will be my trophy fish

Awesome!

Mine is a 24" smallie I caught when I was about 10 years old. I had a fiberglass replica made of it a few years back. From the photo, it's been guessed at about 7-8lbs.

NO!!!!!

I'm not concerned tho

It's a pike and I am sure it will be over 40 inches

Scared the crap out of me

Too bad I was fishing with ultra light tackle, couldn't set the hook on him

I still bet $1000 no one who lives on that lake knows that fish is in there.

Before I raised it I NEVER would have believed anyone if they told me it was in this pond.

Good one Tyler,

I've landed:
36lb Chinook in front of Bronte creek
27lb Pike from Big Trout lake (lost a larger one at the boat)
and a 6 1/2lb smallie on Lake Erie..

my 3 favourites..

Let's look for larger this year, a nice photo, then savour the release..
