Advise on The Bay of Quinte

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Advise on The Bay of Quinte

Post by Daner »

Hi,
I am going to book a location for the 20th of August at one of two trailer sites in the Bay Of Quinte. I have a choice of deep in the Hay Bay area or off the Point at Long Reach and Hay Bay.

I own a 14' foot deep hull with a 15 Johnson. The intent here, is for my son and myself to catch some pike, walleye and bass. I know that the walleye run is now in Lake Ontario, however there are local fish.
Can anyone suggest where would be my best bet to camp for the week?
I really do not want to take long boat rides as the kid is only 12 and is uncomfortable travelling on the water.
Thanks,
Daner
