Worm in Ottawa
Where can I get some nice lively fat worms in Ottawa, tired of the pre-packed half dead Canadian tire worms, I'm in kanata but will drive to get them
few place in gatineau as some on jaques cartier on shore .
canadian..they were good the ones i got there.
but the best is the lawn..there full you can pick like a few 100'S in one hour worth a lot off $.
the best place to pick worm and did it for years.......golf course greens.
....not sher they like that taugh but its the best place..
quiet and soft light and be fast..on the green the grass is very chort so easy to grab.

If you're using lots, the 100 pack at Lebaron's is your best value. If they're mostly for panfish, there's a worm farm in Ottawa that has nice european nightcrawlers. I forget their name, easy to Google I'm sure. I bought worms from them but they were way too small for walleye, but I did get lots of perch and sunfish.

I have experienced the same thing too, and I would like to provide you with a possible solution. For the last several years I have been catching dew worms myself. You can to by waiting for a rainy night and going out with a low powered flash light. the low powered flashlight is a must because dew worms are light sensitive. Then look for exposed earth and grab there shiny bodies and pull them out of their holes and then place them in a bucket and store in the fridge. happy hunting tonight.
