My first sighting of a Gar Pike

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

My first sighting of a Gar Pike

Post by Steady Eddy »

Went to Morris Islands Conservation this a.m. with the wifey, my sister and her better half. As the girls were releasing a tiny smallmouth, they started screeching "Its a pike...no its not....wtf....". I asked them to stop yelling cuz I wanna try and catch it. I could'nt. He had snatched the S.M. as sonn as it hit the water, like he was waiting for it. He SLOWLY swam away, the bass's tail hanging out of his mouth.
Steady.
