Does Bubble Gum Color Work

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

My preferred color is bubblegum pink. I use it for all my fishing - cigar worms, trick worms, finesses worms, grubs, tubes. However, I think white probably works just as well.

I bought some small black cable ties ( $3.09 for 100 at Home Depot).
Slide one onto a worm and clip it short. Works as good as an o-ring.

The hook is a little more secure if you catch a little of the worm just under the cable tie.

Got several bass on my first test run. Got 4 on just one worm.

I bought some 3 inchers for my son - figured they would work great on perch and panfish. I rigged them on a 1/32nd wacky head and he SMOKED every fish in White Lake - perch, LM, SM, pike, rockbass....unreal. The only bad thing is that the o-rings don't fit the 3 inchers, so he went through them pretty quick. He also had a pack of 4 inchers and did well, fishing them the normal way.

I threw the bubble gum colour on white lake last week and no luck, the only thing that seemed to work was real worm and a bobber lol
