Hello from PEI

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Cod? Very cool. I think it's the first time I see a report with a cod in here. Do they look a little bit similar to walleyes?

BM
"The time has come," the Walrus said, "To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

I guess you could say that, but when the cod get to about 5lbs their heads get huge and their eyeballs are enormous. Not much of a fight on 80lb test line and telephone poles but still lots of fun 8)

Very tasty when fresh out of the water...tonight its oysters...yummy  :D

Matt, you've got to try the lobster stuffed baked potato. Oysters, raw and fresh, I once ate 13 1/2 dozen at an oyster fest about 15 years ago. Had to shuck them yourself, and slurp them off the half shell. Great stuff! Enjoy.

Lucky guy gets to fish on his holiday, last thing my familly wants to do on vacation. LOL

I've had bad luck out east even finding a day for me in my son on our last 2 vacations. NB and Gaspe but we did a day of ATV riding last year and that was a blast. Could of done shark fishing in NB but could not find anyone to go with, you need 3 guys to hand off to for the long fights.

We still need to do PEI and NS so I may need some fishing info in the future.

Go get them.
Catch and release them all
