I love fishing!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

It means relaxation and kids squeals of delight as they catch another sunfish. Or the pride i fell as my daughter tells everyone she can cast herself and put the worm on

I have frigg'n woken myself up setting the hook on fish in a dream... Now that's frustration... Hooking into an 8+ largie only to wake up violently and slowly realize you are not on a boat.... ARGH...

It's in the blood.[/quote]

HAHAHA

I was sleeping outside the other day with the dog on the leash, only to set the "hook" when the leash went tight... I still feel bad, but the dog has had lots of treats since.

Fishing = the most fun i have had with my clothes on.

Great topic!

Cheers!

Why I love fishing

Post by Joey Rat »

For the opportunity to match wits with a creature with a teeny tiny little brain and still come away smiling when I lose. Maybe not quite as much as when I win but still smillin'. :) :) :)

I don't know if my blood pressure really drops when I fish but it sure feels like it does.
I'm just another beer drinker with a fishing problem!

excitement

Post by dead_weight »

Well I'm into outdoor stuff ... I really like nature photography(mostly close ups of bugs), hiking, camping, etc ... and I have a big vegetable garden that I'm in when I have a spare moment ... but fishing adds a thrill and suspense that no other outdoor activity does (except hunting I suppose) ... to me it's peaceful to paddle down a river but if I see a really nice pool and don't have my rod then something is kinda missing from the experience ... there's nothing like throwing a line into a place you've never fished before having no idea what might bite. I don't have to catch a trophy fish every time I go out fishing ... but it's the chance that you might that makes it all the more exciting.

Oh yeah ... beer also tastes a lot better when you are fishing ... forgot to mention that one ...

Fishing for me is piting man against nature.

The thrill of not knowing what lurks under that matt, hit your lure on a troll etc.

Getting out with your kids after getting home from work! Seeing the excitement on their faces when they hook into something!

Aspects of fishing I DO NOT LIKE:

The politics and bruised ego's and the guys masquerading as well intended yet are only out to gain spots and use others like whores.
I fish when SHE lets me!!!

""I Love Fishing"" in Chinese characters, would've been to Redneckish to write it in English (or French)
