Towing a boat with a car... Nissan Altima

Ahhh...you may want to find out about what type of transmission the Altima has. If it has the CVT transmission, you are not supposed to tow ANYTHING with the car. Call Nissan and enquire about that. There have been many people as of late whom have purchased models such as the Rogue and then used it to tow trailers. The transmissions have caved and Nissan would not honor the warranty. CVT transmissions do not do towing.

Just something I figure you may want to investigate.

its an '03....don't think they had the CVT then.

Not a cvt. They started making the cvts in 05.
