Sorry to say but I will not be holding the Mr.J. Toothy Critter Derby this year.
In short I just haven't had the time to put it all together for so many reasons.
You have no idea how much is involved and I tried to make it all happen but I find myself out of time.
So many people have expressed how disapointed they are and I am flattered to hear that.
The derby grew so big so fast I just found it overwhelming.
It all started one day over a couple of beers and a way we could get a few guys together for a fish one day....next thing I knew we had 37 people show up.
I did find a great place this year (re Legion) to hold the post fish event but couldn't find food.
It's out of my comfort zone to approach sponsors for prizes, even though a few have told me to see them every year.
Not to say that next year won't happen
