Biting my tongue.
Sorry- Ive been biting my tongue on this one as long as I could.
This bass was eaten.
If anyone else feels the need to eat a real good sized bass- a fat 21" bass would likely be in the 5 pounds plus range- please give me a call. I will gladly send the $$ to cover a couple of good steaks.
This goes for 50"+ muskie, too.
pikeie- that really was a great catch, and hopefully you will get a quality reproduction to remember the occasion by. You did have every right to eat the fish. In the interest of keeping the quality of our fisheries, though, please keep smaller fish for the table in future and release any of the big spawners. Future young anglers will appreciate it.

thanks for the input about my fish. this was the only fish i have kept this year and this so far was my biggest and the last one i will keep of that size. the way i think of it is at least i didnt make a real mount of this fish so it didnt get wasted. just to tell u that this isnt ment to sound mad cause i am not mad. so thanks on everybodys input on my fish
and ones that size i will release.

Thanks!
Thanks for your reply, pikeie.
Some less mature anglers might have taken offense at my post, but I'm glad you saw the point I was trying to make.
And now the fishing gods will undoubtedly reward you with many more personal bests!
Thanks again,
