Two orders of Largies and a side of Crappies....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Two orders of Largies and a side of Crappies....

Post by RJ »

Spent two great days on the water this past weekend.....the Fall Largie bite is on big time!

No real giants this weekend but lots of nice chunks.

I wrapped both days into one entry on my site...Bunk and I hit one of the lakes in the Rideau system we had never been on before.....and I had the two usual suspects with me in my boat on Sunday.....

The highlight of the weekend for me was this 14.25 inch Crappie.....you'll have to excuse the photo quality...we were stuck to using the cell phone cam....:x

I spent Sunday tinkering with gear and getting ready for winter......saves me doing it while the best fishing of the year is taking place....

Talented fishermen = exceptional fish (even on a new lake)!

Niiiiice!!!!!!!!!!! :D

You've got the Midas touch with these 2 species, that's for sure.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

It was a fun day... cold but fun, even as big as that crappie looks, the picture doesn't do it justice... that fish was round as a paper plate...see you on the weekend :D
