Seeleys Bay Report

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hey guys, I am a newbie to the site - but this topic hits home literally. I live 10 mins. from those lakes and can tell you that the picture of the rock bluff is a great spot but you need to stay out from shore 100yards or so. Also, a report from someone that is not local is WAY better than from a local because everyone local is not as free to give out "the secrets"! I am surprised that the black/blue jig did not produce as it is all I use out there... Dog lake has at least 12 tourneys a year pressuring it and it always produces great bags of fish. I have a tourney out there this Sunday and next Sunday as well!! Glad you had an enjoyable day on a "new" lake.

I live in Seeley's Bay and I found your report very interesting. It was good to have someone fishing the water for the first time describe the water's I have fished for years. The last pic was on one of my spots. Good job.

I was fishing a tournament yesterday and I could not get a hit on that spot but I was closer in than Derek.
