Big thank you and happy holidays

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Big thank you and happy holidays

Post by PerchPredator »

As some of you know this is the first year I've really gotten into Ottawa fishing. I didn't know any spots and really hadn't fished in years, but the urge to fish was too large. It had to be done.

Since the holidays are coming up and I'm going home I wont be on FH for a while so I figured I'd say this before the new year.

Just wanted to thank everyone on the site for your help in spots, techniques, tips and general good heartedness. I learned a lot, and love the site.

A special thanks to Marcthefisherman who offered to take me out on his boat randomly and stuck with me as a fishing bud through our first few skunkings. I've learned a ton from him, caught a lot of fish, and had some awesome times (fishing and non-fishing).

I had an amazing first year of fishing Ottawa and a lot of it is thanks to FH'ers. Happy holidays and may you all be safe on the water/ice.

Cheers

Mike
