Easy way to get spot coordinates

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Easy way to get spot coordinates

Post by Yannick Loranger »

Hello all,
I use Google Earth and Google Maps to explore alot before I get out on the water. Recently for whatever reason Google Earth crashed on me and I can't seem to figure out how to re-install it so I don't have a way to get coordinates anymore.

Anyway, I found this website that uses Google Maps and gives you the coordinates of the little flashing yellow pixel in the middle of the map.

Very neat tool for the fisherman. Just create a waypoint on your GPS and punch in the coordinates.

Enjoy.
