Hey Guys,
I am heading out ice fishing with my cousin on Saturday.
We are both from the Nepean area and don't feel like heading out to Petrie. Any suggestions on where to go? We will likely swing by Manotick Bait and head towards Kars.
Is the ice safe in the Kars area??? any better/safe options?
I do a lot of summer fishing around the Kars launch... can you ice fish there?

Unless you know that area, I would be concerned about currents in that stretch!
cheers,

A few huts out on either side of the 416...so you should be ok in that area.

You have the right idea stop by Manotick Bait on Saturday and we'll send you to a great hot spot where the walleye are biting and ice is thick.
Cheers
