Hey tried Cory lake a couple times but not much luck there and same story on the Ottawa. I am a musky novice so doesn't mean they aren't there.

I am no expert either, but I have never heard of them existing in the Ottawa R in the Pembroke area. Does not mean they are not there though.

Yeah they are definately in the Ottawa here. I think the Musky fish gets better east of this area though.

Google "Ottawa River Muskellunge" and there's a MNR report published by Steve Kerr on the status of Ottawa River muskies. All the information you're looking for is in that document.

Yes there is Musky near Pembroke, and also the odd one has been caught in Muskrat Lake. The MNR has told me that since the damn was knocked out and no longer controlled, you get fish from the Ottawa river coming into Muskrat...I know I have caught musky in Muskrat, but they are rare!
Good luck!
