Haliburton Lakers

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Haliburton Lakers

Post by Seabass81 »

Well I am heading to Haliburton area for some lake trout and whitefish action in 2 weeks . We will be renting a hut over a hot area in search of some fish.

Graham Guiding has come highly recomended and even some of the corporate shimano guy's head there once a year.

On our way back I was thinking of hitting quinte but that is adding a couple extra hours to the trip . Any suggestions of lakes to try between minden and renfrew? I believe we are taking the 28 /118 the whole way past bancroft .

I noticed a lake on the side of the road called Haas lake but cant find any info, anybody know whats iin there?

No trout in Haas, Johnny. I'd try Loon Lake, it's just east of Haas and right on the 118 as well. Another easy one to hit would be Paudash Lake right at the 118/28 junction.
