I have only eaten a few whities and find them rather "strong" tasting.
They are A1 in the smoker though.

i ate some last night and put some in my lunch today!
how do i cook it.
butter. salt pepper fine sliddes ham and swiss chesse.
but there a trick to it.
for the ''strong'' taste as you say.
do oyu remmeber when you filleyed the fish.
when you remove the skin from the fish theres going to be a pink line in the middle of the meat.
that pink redish line. is what i think fat. and that part taste foul.... or for the REAL fihsl overs they love it. tatste fishy!
as you cook the fish that part will come off easely with a fork.
i remvoe it.
then the meat is a1 top of the line quality!
they do taste like pike.
and they do have the y bone in them
all pure white meat taste alike.
