Just a warning about some smaller lakes. We aren't sure if we went through but the slush is over the boots. Just to let you know.

fair amount of top water on the Miss as well .... guessn' it had something to due with the heavy snow fall last week :twisted:

Lots of top water on the Miss on saturday. Seemed to be pushing up thru the holes we drilled.

drove by the Portland ramp onto the Big Rideau this am and it looked like a little lake:(..

Rivère des Outaouais along the 148 was the same yesterday......... extremely slushy but the ice looked ok about 14 inches.

Ottawa River this end the same in places, tons of slush.

Hi -
does anybody have any information on how are the ice on the lakes is now? I had been considering heading to this area but stayed away after this report...would be my first outing of the year, was hoping the cold this week helped out.
