Good day all -

Looking for some fish in the rideau.. Was going to head to blacks rapids - I have fished above the dam in the boat quite a bit and had some success... I have heard below the dam could be better??

thoughts? - anywhere to launch a boat below the dam??

If you can carry your boat, you can launch from the shore at the bottom of the locks. Othrwise, your only option would be to pay to launch at the Mooney's Bay ramp and motor upstream to Black Rapids.
