Fishing Tomorrow

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Fishing Tomorrow

Post by crwalker1987 »

Hey guys,

I'm headed out to Constance lake tomorrow to try for some pike. Does anybody have any ideas of where to go? I know it's a small lake and all but any info helps. Also any idea on what kind of bait or lures to use? Thanks again guys.

Cheers,

Chris

Of cabbages--and kings--

Well the fish were hungry yesterday, We caught roughly 20 small pike. Nothing big but the action was almost non-stop. They were biting on everything from spinners to slash baits to crankbaits. Has anybody ever caught any bigger Pike ut of there? I could see the potential. There was even sunfish biting on clackin cranks and clackin minnows, greedy little buggers. All in all it was a great time.

Cheers,

Constance Lake is a fun place - how many other places do you have to worry about having a plane land on your boat!

Lots of fish and some decent size bass in there but I haven't see the parents of all of those baby pike, one of which was shorter that the 5" stick bait it was caught on!
