For many years I have always used a simple haywire twist when attaching single strand copper wire to a snap/swivel on my deep water trolling rig(s). However, I have recently been given a spool of the softer, 30lb test copper 7 Strand braid and would like to give it a try.
I would appreciate if someone could offer me advice on which knots they use when attaching this softer copper braid to the snap/swivel. I am thinking the Improved Clinch? Many thanks.....

Not sure for copper, google is probably your friend there.
For 7 strand wire I use two simple overhand knots.
