I went fishing with my daughter for the first time in over a decade. We realized we like fishing together
Pete, her boyfriend came along. They are both film majors and brought up some pretty serious pic taking equipment.
Even the old analogue stuff.
They took some nice pics I could never take with my pocket camera.
They could shoot low light
Get great macro shots
...or micro shots
They do have a good eye
...and I have to admit that expensive cameras can catch beautiful subtle detail

...ah, nothing like coffee and breakfast early out on the lake

..and the old guy has an art background
..and can squeeze a lot out of an automatic pocket camera
...people ask me how I take such good pictures. Mostly it's about being in the right place at the right time.
