Was thinking about venturing out to the Mississippi Lake next weekend. Never ice fished there. Is there public access onto Ebbs Bay or anywhere else with safe ice?

Ebbs Bay does not have public access.

9A (Grasshopper point) of Hwy 7 heading towards TO does.

People also go on at the end of Lake Park rd. and also just north of there at the boat launch across from LakePark Lodge. As the ice gets thicker the shacks will move further out and eventually there will be a shack city out by Aberdeen Island. Good luck with it.

Cheers

The launch at the end of Lake Park rd. is good to go for anyone but

Chad I wasn't aware that there was a problem getting on the ice there. There sure was a lot of vehicles using it last year. Tks for pointing that out.

The public launch off Loon Lane will get you the closest to Ebbs bay ..... stay left and head for the opposite shoeline :occasion-snowman:
