9th Annual Castleford Charity Ice Fishing Derby

Hi everyone,
The 9th Annual Castleford Charity Ice Fishing Derby will be held this weekend Feb 15th from 6am to 6pm on the Ottawa River just 15 minutes West of Arnprior in Castleford Ontario.

Thousands of dollars in cash and prizes to be given away for multiple divisions. Youth ATV door prize, Eskimo ice fishing auger and Rapala ice shelter package door prize.

When is registration cut off? 6am-? Don't want to be late.

all that info is there under ticket sales, 10 adult 5 kids 6-6

Sounds like a good time. Lots of people and prizes for a good cause. Good prices too and I don't see a cut off time for registration and that makes sense as it is a charity event, so why limit funds.
Never been out there. Is the mouth of the Bonny fish-able or is the ice not good enough?

You can purchase tickets up to 1pm at the locations listed at the website, this gives us time to collect all our ticket sales from around the area before the prizes and cash are handed out at the Horton Rec Center at 7pm.

The ice conditions are really good this year we have close to 2.5 to 3 feet. The access road onto the river is just across from the way in station.
