This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Basically we need 2 BBQ's I'd say.....I have one but no truck to take it up with...

If everyone just brings whatever they want to eat....we'll have the Q's fired up and we'll cook anything...

I'm going to try and contact the town of Arnprior and see if we can pull the vehicles up into the park atop the hill.....

Any other suggestions?

RJ

P.S. Thanks for all the offers of help!

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it, although I'd love to. I'll be on the East coast fishing for Mako, Blue, and Porbeagle sharks!

Catch lots of fish for me, especially you muskie guys! ;)

Hey RJ,

Just a logistical question. If there is alcohol involved at the park, do we need to get special permission to do so. I think it's a public park and I don't know if there are certain rules that might need to be followed.

You know me......just call me Mr. Waiver man.

The rath of the Ottawa is way overstated by alot of people....unless the winds are over 20 kh it's a piece of cake...and for that case...any body of water with 20kh plus winds aint fun in a 14 ft...

No worries!

I should be up there as well on the 21st!

I even managed to convince the wife to come.

Mark us down for 2 and we'll chip in for the bird and what ever else.

Let me know if I can help in anyway RJ.

Great idea guys, and hopefully I can make the next one. I'll be wrapping up my holidays at that point (which will hopefully include some fishing!).

Hawg Wobbler - where you going to be?

Have a good one! 8)

Hey guys,
I know the Arnprior O.P.P. VERY VERY WELL and I am sure without a permit of some sort as it is public property...they wont allow Alcohol open and drinken..I may be wrong but I doubt it. Also the O.P.P. Marine Unit WILL give tickets and take booze away if it is open on the water! Any questions of impaired operation..THEY WILL CHARGE YOU. They carry the alcotest onboard with them...
This is just FYI!
