Bass in the Canal
Bass in the Canal
Caught four nice size small mouth bass tonight. Just using fake worms, was closer to Dow's lake this time.
Re: Bass in the Canal

I wonder if Eddie'll be happy they're largies vs smallies. Either way, good going!

Re: Bass in the Canal
How's the water clarity in the canal? The rivers are starting to clear up a bit but I'm wondering if the canal and Dow's lake are affected by heavy rains as much.
Money can't buy you happiness but it can buy you fishing gear and that's kinda the same thing.

Thats a great looking fish, no marks or blackspot. Pretty happy looking fisherman too!

Re: Bass in the Canal
Yup, there's some nice sized bass in the Canal. FYI check out the inlet near 3rd street in the Glebe off the main canal.
I hit this guy who weighed in at just over 4 lbs. last summer.
They'll also hit almost any plastic you throw at them. Typical Piggies, eh?
Tight lines,
