me and a friend caught some nice gar pike during the weekend with lures we made. also this hog catfish.

Thanks for sharing! Shore fishing CAN produce, lots of great spots around town if you know where to target and WHAT to target!

Those are some nice looking fish!

Were the home made lures you used the rope kind I've read about online or did you make something else?

the gar was 46'' and i used an old shoelace i had laying around.
