PRESCOTT GOLD

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Brought my boat there and fished from 8:00am - 12:00pm. Caught nothing but saw lots of boats there. Didn't see many guys caught fish too. CO checked us and even asked if we have minnow but we fished with plastic. I guess if minnow is not allowed to use to catch walleye.

Nice to hear the MNR was doing their job
Last year was a slaughter of big females over 10lbs from Cardinal

I'm sure it happens in many other areas

The only fish over 5lbs that we ever keep are those if caught
In deep water when/if they expell their stomachs
Sad to see but it happens

The bite has been off.... transitional peroid now until water warms up

Good Luck fishing!
I can't find my Sharpie

are you not allowed to fish the Larry with live bait? I have only ever fished their with plastics but I looked at the regs and can't see anything that suggests you cannot fish with live bait.
