What is your preference?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

What is your preference?

Post by pikeman »

I have not been on in quite a while but I have a question for the Hawkers out there. I am debating on hitting a new lake this weekend . I have a trailer on Mink Lake near Eganville and the fishing has been horrible this year for walleye. I was able to fish on Muskrat and Lake Clear recently with success but I was thinking on trying another lake that is close by.

Here are my options : Constant Lake, Lake Dore, Silver Lake and possibly Golden Lake. I am targeting walleye. We love bottom bouncing.

Which of these lakes would you suggest we try and why ? Or is there another option that I have not thought of?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated and promise a full report next week.

Lake Dore is a good choice. I have never left there skunked. You just need to find the channels out there and you will get them. Also not bad for some decent bass too!!

It's much more important.

I have fished Constant lake bottom bouncing and had good luck just have to watch the stumps from the boat launch by the dam to the main part of the lake.
