Need help ID'ing Another Monster

Dorsal fin / anal fin count, and pattern of a rock bass, but grey / white and no red eye? Caught in Callendar Bay, Nippissing.

Rock Bass and fine table fair if a little bigger

Rockbass by my reckoning. Red eye is common but not required for a rockbass ID. No other sunfishes and basses in Lake Nipissing that I could see that would be a better match.

Looks like a silver/white bass to me.

That's a rock bass for sure

I caught some very pale silver ones out of white lake through the ice, but generally they are darker. Just like smallies not all of them have red eyes!

On the subject of Rock bass here is more like what I'm used to (as in how they look). But....



this 7" specimen slammed a 7" Lucky Bug Zombie maxx on the front treble - what the?

Shame these things don't get to 10 lbs - imagine the fight!
