I do not have a lot of experience driving snowmobiles or atvs so I have been taking my time getting use to driving it, but so far loving it.
A little video cruising around the lake... https://youtu.be/MyJczVNmcnc
I am using just the Base Model unit powered by a 15 hp Honda engine, featuring push button electric start, kill switch and hand break. My machine does not have reverse but the Standard model does. It comes with a sled and a seat which fits 2 adults and some gear and I attach another sled to carry the ice huts and other gear.

Top speed is said to be 40km/hr, I have not ran at full throttle yet, but on the weekend we were cruising at 32 km/hr across the ice with 2 guys and gear and still not at full throttle. It can pull up to 1000 pounds, but on the Bay of Quinte a few weeks ago we had 3 sleds hooked up to the Taiga Dog and transported 4 adults and gear out onto the ice with no issues.
The machine is relatively compact with a "footprint" of 58" x 25" plus the detachable sled. I am currently transporting it on a 5 foot x 8 foot trailer which works perfectly, but you could load it into the back of a pickup truck if you wanted to.
The company, based out of the Toronto area, also makes and Taiga Dog Long and TD Extended models with longer tracks and a Taiga Dog Mini is expected out sometime soon.

I will be putting some better videos and photos together as I continue to use the Taiga Dog this winter but hope you enjoy the 2 clips I posted.

We found a few fish on our adventures as well.

Hoping to bring the Taiga Dog out to Shirley's Bay sometime soon.
